A journalist
I made a de-tour home via
Imagine my surprise to encounter the same young lady when I was queuing for a bag of whelks, yes she was a journalist, her name was Maria and she lived in
I told Maria about my blog, she had contacts in
Back early
I returned yesterday to go to the theatre with Violet Rose and June Alice. The story could stop there only I told June Alice that we were expecting a lift at 7.45 – fast forward and Violet Rose and I were waiting for our companion; we had to get into town and the performance started at 7.30.
I telephoned June Alice and she had just got out of the shower as there was plenty of time to get ready; I then gave her the bad news; whilst she panicked we caught a taxi and prayed for a miracle. June Alice arrived with three minutes to spare, her hair was wet but her make-up was perfect; she had packed three made up gin and tonics to alleviate the stress.
The performance was good.

The Vatican
Albert once visited Rome and whilst in the Vatican with a group of friends felt the need to demonstrate how confession worked. He entered the confessional box and was about to pretend he was a Priest when his moment of glory was cut short by a security guard who grabbed him by the collar and threw him out.

Away again
I am away tomorrow until Thursday on a free gardening and composting course, Albert would hate it.
Who was there
Tallulah Tricia, Scarlet Sophie, Grace Lands , Claudia Roma, Violet Rose and of course me, Eunice Victoria.
Personally I think it is a good idea we do not meet often.
My night out
I shall tell you later when my headache has gone; I wonder if Violet Rose is alright perhaps I should ring her later.
I asked Albert to collect us from the Inn , down a dark lane, on the Moor in the snow; apparently he arrived and could not find us – we were in the toilet. He is supposed to be my Knight in Shining Armour?
Violet Rose and I walked home alone in the dark, in the snow.

Drinking on the sofa
Albert told me I am not to drink on an evening. He was impressed with my large melon concoction yesterday evening – I did not tell him it contained the remains of very nice coconut liquor.
Keeps him happy if he thinks I am behaving.
Casting off
Apparently I did not give Veronica casting off information for her crocheting, I told her to keep going.
Did suggest we meet again to remedy the situation.
Albert I am going out.

Grammar
A message to Deidre from Wonglepong , Australia – if my grammar upsets you do not read my blog.
Even Shakespeare made mistakes.
Night class
I have enrolled for a Public Speaking course – Albert said I do not need to go; what does he mean.
Veronica said I should go I may need to speak in public when I am famous.
A bargain
The hot air balloon company contacted me, they want to know if I want three trips for the price of two – I shall ask Albert.

Another friend
I spoke to a friend today who reads my blog – yes I am real, well almost. Oh yes, this friend, she is worried that I may mention her – it will serve her right, she should not tell me things.
Don’t worry Chloe I will not mention you, not directly anyway.
Biscuits
I bought Albert some magic biscuits from the Asian food store, I do not know what is in them because I cannot read Chinese; he can have them tomorrow with a cup of tea.

Armchairs and red wine
The picture house we visited was astonishing, the seats were like red velvet armchairs and as we purchased our tickets we spied the wine. We expected to be given the refreshment in a plastic glass and were amazed to be presented with very smart glasses …. What more could we wish for.
New hairdresser
I have a new hairdresser, she asked me on Friday if I was having the day off to get my hair done ………. I did not do the normal thing and say I was retired; I told her I was an actress and resting.
Dentist
My dentist did not recognize me, he said I looked like Helen Mirren – oh didn’t I tell you my hair is pink and brighter than Helen’s.

Not well
Veronica and I have not been well (no further details) – we blame the goulash it could not have been the red wine.

Valentine's Day
Albert bought me a bunch of chrysanthemums for Valentine's Day and I bought him a bag of potatoes; he was cross.
How was I to know he wanted flowers, I shall shop tomorrow when they are reduced.

Where did we go?
We went to Malton on Foss.
We sat regally on the front deck of the bus, wearing our hats and waving at people if we thought it was necessary.
Veronica informed me that she has forgotten how to crotchet, so we went along to a local shop and purchased lime green and tangerine wool and a crotchet hook. The lesson was made complicated due to Veronica having a bad thumb with a large bandage on it – she needed this thumb to crotchet.

All the pubs were shut so we selected a wine bar and ordered a bottle of a suitable wine and started the lesson ……… we could not stop laughing but I think she can now crotchet. A blanket is now her aim, I wonder?
I shall tell you about the picture house later.

Dinner for one
Albert asked me what was for his lunch on Monday and would I be back for his dinner? NO.
If it snows Veronica and I may have to stay in Scarborough, which would be a shame for Albert he may miss his breakfast.

Another hat
She (Veronica) is wearing a hat on Monday – I am going out now to visit several second-hand boutiques to purchase a classy number. I have a bag of purple and orange feathers to adorn my purchase if it is too plain.
You will recognize me on the Scarborough train as I will obviously wearing something with feathers on and Veronica could be wearing anything!
Remember if you wave at us, we are shy ladies.
Hot air balloon
I have just read a book about a man who went on a trip in a hot air balloon and died. I had already booked a similar journey for Albert, should I cancel?
I shall leave the matter to fate.
An outing
I am meeting up with Veronica on Monday and we are travelling to Scarborough for the day. Plans are a walk on the beach, an ice cream, bag of mussels and then Witherspoons for meal and a bottle of wine.
As with all holiday plans changes can be made at short notice.
