I went shopping without Albert today and I have returned to a new house!

Explanation :  he has moved all the ground floor furniture and rearranged the cupboards again.

Goodbye allotment

What am I going to write about now? 

My allotment is put to bed and empty until spring.

My anniversary treat was a bag of whelks, a box of chocolates and a walk on Whitby beach - I wonder what the Queen got?

Albert's return

Albert came home with flowers because it is our anniversary, on the same day as the Queen and Prince Phillip.

I know the date but cannot remember how many years?

Where is Albert

I was up early this morning and Albert is nowhere to be seen.

I am sure he will turn up when he is hungry - I will just wait; he has taken his wallet?

Writing a novel

I wanted to write today and I have a blanket to crotchet - Albert upset me by insisting I go shopping!

Cyril is too expensive - did I tell you he is a private investigator, specialising in finding people.

I will find Veronica myself when the weather is warmer.

Hungary

I am popular in Hungary today.

Fifty pounds

I had to bring £50 in change for my craft stall - my purse wasn't big enough.  I have made £600 profit and cannot possibly return home on the bus!

I hope Albert has left me some stew.

Tomorrow

I am looking after a friend's craft stall in York tomorrow, I will leave a stew in the oven Albert. 

Albert

Albert has been sick and I had to iron and put the dustbins out.

So much easier being a writer and genius!

Finger printing

Finger printing will not help me find Veronica - I know a private detective who is willing to assist me and I will let you know the outcome.
