I should blog every day and I promise to improve, some days I need to dust, dig, sew, paint and cook and Albert hides my computer!

A strawberry confession

I tripped whilst going downstairs with a bowl of strawberries, three of the fruits slid down the white linen wallpaper (leaving a red snail like mark) and one landed on the top of Albert's grandfather clock!

I am still trying to explain to Albert.

Recycling

I am sure I told you that Albert is away this weekend - pity he did not tell me where the recycling bin is: I will take the bottles to the bus stop bin tomorrow.

Russia

Ee by gum I am very popular in Russia this week, I hope they understand my Yorkshire humour.

A weekend in London

Albert is away this weekend and I shall miss him!

Playing it cool at the moment so he believes me - Mabel Elizabeth is arriving half an hour after he leaves, and we will go out for an adventure.

I have an invite to Sunday lunch and a liaison with a photographer on Monday ..... 

Still no sign of Veronica?

Threatening behaviour

Albert was at risk today:

he walked up behind me at the cash point (I did not know he was there) and said loudly giz us your money ........... I told him to get lost.

In the meantime a young lady at the next till was about to hit him until I laughed, if I had laughed a second later the outcome would have been so different!

Lucky day

I had a letter published in the local paper today and 'Ernie' (Premium Bond one) sent me £25.00.

I forgot

I did mean to buy Albert a bun, but by the time I had taken Sophie home I had passed the shops .........

More coffee

Just nipping out to meet Gloria Swanson (of course it is not her real name) for a posh coffee.

Told Albert I would go straight to yoga and sorry he cannot have the car!

I will bring him a Yorkshire bun back for tea.  

Vacuuming and dusting

Albert bought new dusters and has vacuumed today,  .............. me, I spent an hour or two with Desmond at the allotment and wrote a story.

Tomorrow I shall be at yoga while Albert irons.

I still cannot find Veronica.

On the telly

I appear to have one fan in Singapore.

Windows

I returned home early from my writing course and Albert has cleaned all the windows.

I now have a problem,  as he used all my dusters, how am I able to dust without dusters.  

My mother would be so disappointed in me .......

Panic stations

I must get dressed as the train leaves in 4 hours!

I have to bake Albert a cake and scones - perhaps I should leave him recipe books?

Albert please do not re-arrange my cupboards whilst I am away and clean the sink.
