I have not cut Albert's hair yet the clippers are still charging? 

Last blog???

Tomorrow I am cutting Albert's hair - the appliance is on charge for 16 hours at present.  Whilst in New Zealand a wonderful lady named Anna Cross-stitch cut his locks and I hope I can manage to do the same.

If I take lumps out of his hair and scalp I am running away to live with Veronica and never blog again.

We will see .................

Exhausted

Socialising is such hard work and I need to be in good form to join Veronica next week.

Come on Elvis we are going to plant broad beans .......

I will stay in and rest tomorrow.

Our holiday home

We are staying in a castle near Whitby, Veronica's family own land nearby.

Veronica said do not worry, it will be fine - it was such a cheap deal there is probably no roof on the castle.

I still wanted my acting part but my pal's company is worth the sacrifice.

Another audition

I have been invited to audition for a small part in a play, in West Yorkshire.

I cannot go because I am going away with Veronica, Emilio and Albert - what a shame, I am so upset.

I was to get extra enhancement payments for any dialogue, creative reaction, doubling for a character or dancing.

Another time perhaps?

 

Prologue

I wonder if I should write a prologue before I give you my latest events?

Today's prologue

Socks, where are they Albert, the thermal ones? Personally I have never had any thermal socks says Albert.

Chapter 1

Eunice and Albert were shopping for socks again as Albert thinks he has been robbed of his thermal socks that he never had.

Staying in

I must stay in for a while as I have been socialising since last Wednesday, yes the dust has settled and I have cobwebs on my bedroom ceiling.

Last night I travelled to York to meet up with some awesome, wonderful cousins - you cannot beat drinking gin and tonics in a posh hotel!  There was one moment when I had to be rescued from Bill who came from Leeds. 

Out again tomorrow to celebrate Lottie's birthday, poor Albert ...........

A train friend

I met up with Mabel Elizabeth on Saturday in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire; we took a slow bus out to Holmfirth enjoying the views and eventually returned to our meeting place to have lunch.

This story is not about Mabel Elizabeth and what we did ........

I had booked a seat on the train back to North Yorkshire but the gentleman who was on the next seat appeared to be drunk and was shouting about sliced bread and telephone boxes.  I therefore sat elsewhere but I was concerned about a young lady who was sat near the sliced bread gentleman so I beckoned her to come and sit next to me - all well and good up to now!

"Hello, I am Susan" she said ......... "I am a prostitute" - there was a very long pause and I replied "my name is Eunice and I am not a prostitute".  I was sorely tempted to ask about her working hours and  pension scheme but had to stop myself laughing, there was no more conversation until I got off to change trains at York when she said goodbye.

She was wearing a stunning pair of red patent leather shoes.

You meet the most amazing people at bus stops - may not tell you about today's experience!

Moonlight

What am I to do with organic seeds purchased in New Zealand - best planted in the moonlight the packet says.

Pickled onions

I have run out of pickled onions so I shall have to dig today, see you later Albert.

Allotment

Phillip and Roger are digging my allotment today, I have paid them in beer and pickled onions.

I am not being funny but

I spoke to a local New Zealand restaurant owner who told me he grew his own beef - are they seeds or tubers?

Money

Albert and I lost our credit cards, I put them away safely and have not seen them since. 

Thank you Nigel from my building society for taking pity on me and giving me some cash, he even offered me £20.00 of his own money if I was unable to draw money from my account.  Bless him.

More catch ups

I cannot find my dusters and polish so when Albert went out I decided to have some quality time with Ruffina Caprice Pond - of course that is her name!

We talked about many things, of shoes and ships and sealing wax as did the Walrus and The Carpenter.  I cannot remember what we ate; but I do know that we toasted a lot of people and one bottle was not enough.

I returned home many hours later still laughing.

I like Albert but it is nice to see my friends again.

Tired

I am tired today, can I cope with a whole day away with Veronica - I should know on  19 February.

Albert is concerned that tea can have such a tiring effect.

A new baby

I only meant to call for a few minutes and talk about Veronica's granddaughter - I had to telephone Albert to pick me up and assured him I had been drinking tea.

It must have been wine time somewhere?

3 wheels on my wagon

Did I tell you Albert lost a wheel - off his suitcase, he is very upset!

Not dead

I received a letter today from a childhood friend, she was worried that she did not receive a Christmas card from me and was I dead?

Not sure about how to respond here, if I was dead I could not reply ............

Help me write the letter please Veronica when you have time, I hope I see you soon.

Bathing .............

Yesterday I had a bath, the first one this year!

A grandmother

Veronica has become a grandmother and I am worried that it will make her totally respectable! 

I will wait a while until she has had plenty of visits and cuddles and she will take me out for a drink; I hope.

I am pencilling you in for March Veronica, we have so much to talk about.

Poor Elvis

Elvis flew across the lawn thanks to Storm Henry - he is ok Mary Music just a sore paw.  I will keep him in for a week.

Message for Mary Music in Sydney - Elvis is well thank you; although he has attempted twice to sleep with Albert and I. 

I have told him he is a cat and should be out catching mice; we will have an allotment visit next week.
