I wish I had an egg cup

Asparagus  is so cheap here - I was imagining dipping my asparagus  into a boiled egg; as per the  posh  cookery book illistrations and of course  sitting on the  verandah  in the sun.

Sadly Albert and I do not have egg cups and it is foggy.

Veronica at home

I know more about my pal Veronica when I am away than when I live nearby - she is having trouble with her freezer . . .

I meant to ask her to save me some Christmas  cake, I will ask her her in my daily update tomorrow.

She misses me!

Bikers in pyjamas

Albert and I stayed in a motel by a lake for a few days - it was a quiet  location.  On bonfire  night ten burly bikers rolled in, we nodded at them and they nodded at us and we did not see them again.

Albert and  I  went to bed early because we could not find any firework events - imagine our surprise  to be awakened around 11 pm by fireworks  and giggles!  We watched our motel biker friends let off splendid fireworks and bangers until midnight.

What I did not tell you was that the  bikers were  all wearing their pyjamas . . . . I so wanted to interview the biker proudly  wearing his Winnie  the  pooh  pair but Albert would  not  let me.

Thinking about it

Albert has a good deal on a jet ski experience - he needs to know soon if I am accompanying him.

No no .....

I am just writing  this Albert and  I  shall  give  you  an  answer.

Font fixed!

Interviewing Veronica style

I decided to  try Veronica's theory and took a  train to  Huddersfield  about 2 hours away.  Imagine my delight to see lots  of  rugby  players  occupying  most of  the   carriage.  No time to  lose  I approached them when  there was a lull in the  conversations.

I spoke to  Trenton a tall wide blonde half back and asked  him if it was OK for me to  interview him and  his friends?

Was it about  the  dummy tackle  before  half time I was asked  - I forgot to  tell  you  that they played for  Huddersfield  Town.

I wanted  to  know what books  they were reading .... the  Ticket  Inspector  came to see what all the  noise was about!

Malcolm  was my  favourite as he was reading The  Magic  Faraway  Tree .

What a lot  of fun you  can  have  on a train and I have so many more new friends.

Albert did  not approve of  my day out.

Having trouble  with my fonts  and  spacing  today.

Not bungy jumping

Too cold . . .

I have been experiencing  technical problems but back on track now.

I will tell you about the  Huddersfield interview tomorrow  after a game  of golf!
