Our Tuesday date

Veronica has to visit a dead nun on Tuesday morning so our day out is cut short – we could always travel and stay out overnight …….

 Are you listening Veronica?

Missing me

Veronica is missing me, do not worry friend I am back on Saturday and we are out for the day on Tuesday …………. So much to talk about and drink to.

I think this is Veronica’s birthday day out or perhaps it is a practise day out?

Sailors galore

I was taken out for a treat to the local gym for steam room sessions etc where my companion and I were joined by six sailors in the Jacuzzi – I quite forgot how old I was for a moment or two.

I must remember to tell Veronica, she would have still been in the Jacuzzi!

Still here

Albert and I are now in Plymouth staying with relatives – digging, decorating and escaping……

Yesterday’s escape was to Torquay when I had a glass of wine on the beach and Albert was drinking tea.

A day in and a day out

I have spent two respectable days with Albert – it will not last!

Who is John?

He is Veronica’s interior designer brother

Bollards

I stepped inside John’s bollards and said I was going to whisper in his ear - not possible after many wines he said – I had been out with the social worker who is not looking after my cat ………

This was an extract of an email I sent to Veronica on Monday.

Just gone breakfast time and I am preparing Albert’s lunch before I leave home …………..

See you later Albert.

The Daffodil Fairy

She has vanished, the Daffodil Fairy as the flowers have all disappeared, and she has gone away.

My allotment mates think I am mad, do I care?  I am busy looking for the Primrose Fairy now ……

Lost labels

I do not know if I am growing sweet peas or ordinary peas; I must learn to label properly.  I will not need to test them on Albert as it will become obvious soon enough.

Albert and I were due at a barbeque today but it is snowing!

Albert, Veronica, Albert, Veronica ...

I really like, love Albert but I need a day out with Veronica, she understands me and drinks red wine.

National Trustish

Albert and I are away in Portsmouth soon for two weeks for a working holiday – do not worry I will keep you informed.

Emergency covering

I had to dash off to the allotment this evening to cover my plants up because the temperature had dropped to minus something.

I did not intend to miss Albert’s tea …… but he managed?

Being a kid again

Out with the old school gang tonight I hope Veronica turns up.

Albert prepared tea and I am wondering why?  He is not coming out with me!

Sat-Nav

I may need a sat-nav to find Veronica, according to bookface she has been busy but I cannot find her.

I have a date with Veronica in May – we will have lots to talk about and drink to; there is always the possibility that I may bump into her.

Walking with Herbert

Albert has a task; he is taking Herbert walkies every day for a friend.   Herbert is a big friendly collie dog and this means Albert is missing for hours!

Who did you think Herbert was?

Destination

Where did we go for Easter, we went to Next Ness Plumpton near Arrad Foot; we had tea and buns with Nelly Bell and Sophie.

Things were going so well until we nearly got arrested.

Declassified

The Ministry of Defence are not taking any action over Albert’s visit to their site, they could not understand how he had not seen the ‘do not enter’ sign.  After checking my mobile phone and camera we were sent on our way.

Albert should learn to listen to me!

Easter visting

I told Albert we were going the wrong way on the M6 – if I have the energy I will tell you about it.
