Lunch

Did I tell you I met Veronica for lunch yesterday; it was a very respectable affair because Albert joined us.

 

We have made a date for a long lunch in June, without Albert.

Gardening

I have stopped gardening in the moonlight because I have onions growing in my rose beds.

Another Course

I have enrolled on a landscape garden course in error, Albert will not understand.

Today's Saint

St Madeleine’s day today, now she was a lady who would have had a blog.

Scotland

I did not go to Scotland and Eileen from Nova Scotia said I should not lie. 

 Ok I went on a cruise with Albert, met some unusual American travellers, Mike and Beverley from downtown Dallas told us all about grits with cheese and scrambled eggs.

 Enough, I shall tell you more later.

I am back home and have 335 emails?

Lots to tell you – all in good time.

A diary

I am packed and ready to go, Albert is still in bed.

I have asked Albert to keep a diary whilst I am away, this and keeping the sink clean will keep him busy.

 See you in a couple of weeks.

What a din

The children next door are practising their recorders in the garden and to make matters worse their father thinks he can play the clarinet. 

May have to abandon the garden and go indoors to dust.

 I could visit Veronica if she is at home?

Spring is here

I have figs on my fig tree and Elvis is sitting on my garlic; he must be planning a hunting trip.

Chosen

I have a grant to attend a writing course – will this help or shall I retire quietly?

Bullocks

I was asked to write a piece in a local paper about bullocks – I live on a housing estate not far from Veronica; what do I know about bullocks?

Working

I have been working away and go back again next week to Scotland – Albert is learning how to cook eggs and pancakes; is this for me or him?
