Trees

Veronica still missing.

Just returned from Ireland and met Shane Hollywood, I want his wife to know I am only interested in his trees.

I need a man or lady with a van and Shane will arrange delivery of my Handkerchief tree of course for a small fee.

That Umbrella

One of us owned a very posh umbrella which was carried all the way back from France, it was pink and gold with a gilt handle and a long spiked base.

I remember it like yesterday .................. we were both having our hair done - lacquered and shaped to last a week, what bliss ... then I noticed that Veronica, yes Veronica was sat next to my beloved umbrella and flicking her cigarette ash into the centre.

Now as a rule umbrellas do not work well with holes in them and it did not protect my new hair!

The Cemetery

We once got locked in the cemetery, we had been visiting Moses Moody (he is dead) and before we realised it was dark; we had to climb through the hedge and still have the scars!

.... and then there was getting lost in the dark in Scarborough but that is for another day.
